  • QUESTIONS ABOUT CHOCOLATE

    [Q] How long will the chocolates last?
    [A] Although our sweets will keep for months, for the best flavour and colour brightness, enjoy them within 3-4 weeks. Stored in a cool, dark place, they will stay fresh for 3-6 months. But honestly? If you can resist that long... most don't make it past day one!

    [Q] How should I store my chocolates?
    [A] Your chocolates are happiest in a cool, dark place - not the fridge or freezer, and definitely not on the dash of your car on a sunny day! Best to keep them in a cool, dry spot. 22ºC / 72ºF or lower is preferred.

    [Q] What kind of chocolate do you use?
    [A] I use premium milk and dark Lindt Swiss couverture chocolate. For the colour details, I use meltable candy wafers - no tempering needed, but just as tasty!

    [Q] Do you really paint with a toothpick?
    [A] Yes! Many of my chocolates are painted using the tiniest of brushes, and a toothpick is ideal for the finest details and dots. Each piece is painted backwards in the mold before being filled with chocolate.

  • PACKAGING & PRESENTATION

    [Q] How do you package your chocolates?
    [A] Each chocolate is carefully sealed in a food-grade plastic bag. They are then labeled with a Clayton Creative Chocolates header card with ingredients and contact information. Our gift boxes are packaged in sealed, hard plastic cases, containing our branding, ingredients and contact info.

    [Q] Can I get custom labels or event packaging?
    [A] Absolutely! All of our packaging is specially designed for our chocolates, but we can also create custom labels for your weddings, corporate gift and other special occasions. A small additional cost applies.     [Q] Do you offer special packaging for gifts?
    [A] Yes! Our beautiful, premium hard-case gift boxes are sturdy and elegant, keeping your treats safe while adding a polished, ready-to-gift presentation. Due to their delicate nature, they are only available at in-person markets; not online. Visit the Find Us! page for our current market and retail locations.

  • INGREDIENTS & ALLERGENS

    [Q] Are your products allergen-safe?
    [A] Although all of our products are crafted in a clean and food-safe environment, we cannot guarantee that our products are fully allergen-friendly, as the ingredients may contain items such as nuts, gluten, eggs or dairy.

    [Q] What ingredients are in your chocolates?
    [A] We use Lindt couverture chocolate for the fill, and a few different brands of candy wafers for the colours. You can find our full ingredients list in a drop-down menu on every product page.

    [Q] Do you have any gluten-free options?
    [A] While most chocolate and candy wafers don't include gluten as an ingredient, our finished chocolates are not certified gluten-free and may contain trace amounts.
